MS Nordkapp is named after one of the highlights of the Hurtigruten voyage, the northernmost point of mainland Europe, the North Cape (71ºN).

 

THE SHIP WILL GET A FULL REMODEL ON 03.27.16 - 04.18.16

Being one of our expedition ships she comes fully equipped with panorama lounge, sun deck, observation deck, and her own expedition team (as of 2016). In her role she also serves as a university at sea, with interesting lectures inside the ship as well as out on the sun deck. Topics will depend on season and the waters we sail in.

Expedition Suites

Choose from our wide range of comfortable suites. They are graded Q, M, MG, and MX and have one or two rooms that include a seating area with TV, a kettle and a small tray with coffee/tea. They have a shower/wc and most have a double bed.

One or two rooms, seating area, TV, mini-bar, some with private balcony.

Arctic Superior

Our Arctic Superior cabins grades QJ, P and U all have private facilities and double beds, one of which can be turned into a sofa. All cabins are equipped with TV, a kettle and a small tray with coffee/tea.

Separate beds, one bed can be turned into a sofa, table. Upper decks.

Arctic Superior P

Polar Inside

Our cozy Polar Inside cabins in category I mostly have separate beds, while some category I have upper and lower berths. Please note that cabins on deck 5 and 6 might have limited views due to passengers standing or walking on the deck outside the cabin window.

Cabin grades O, N, L and J have separate beds, where one can be turned into a sofa. Cabin grade A have upper and lower berths. Grade L have portholes and grade J have limited/no view.

Separate beds, one bed can be turned into a sofa. Situated from upper/middle/lower decks.

Polar Outside N

Separate beds, one bed can be turned into a sofa (some with upper/lower berths). Middle/lower decks.

Polar Outside L

With portholes, separate beds, one bed can be turned into a sofa. Some with limited/no view.
