Scandinavian Capitals Tour
Just wanted to thank you for the amazing Scandinavian vacation we just returned from. No real glitches. The capitals are just wonderful. I think I could live in Stockholm or Oslo. The accommodations were wonderful and the guides did so much for us. I am sure that I will go back.(Viking boats from 800AD... I can’t wrap my mind around that.) Also, thanks for the assistance with my parents' insurance claim. They got all their money back with relatively no hassle. Thanks again for the very successful trip to Scandinavia. Be well. Baltic Impressions
Overall very good, was disappointed the optional diners were not well attended by my tour and the food served at the Tallinn optional dinner was not authentic; lighting was not dim as expected for a midieval atmosphere and price was Euro 40 too expensive for what we received. Only 3 people from a tour of 19 participated. Time spent in Vilnius was too short; an AM walking tour and 2 hours free time – more time like a half day free time should be for a capital of Lithuania. – Robert Mazurkivich -
Almost everything went very well.
Almost everything went very well. We especially liked the Artis Hotel in Vilnius and the Hotel National in Klaipeda. Many of the other hotels were nice, but quite modern and lacked charm. Our driver (Aurimas) was wonderful. Even though he had never made a similar extended trip, he was great. Amber Tours also rented a new comfortable 8-passenger van for the trip. Our only problem came on Day 12 in Tallinnn when he was instructed to start his return trip to Vilnius by noon. Fortunately, our local guide was able to arrange for transportation to get us back to our hotel after completing our excursion to Kadriorg Park. Most of the local guides were outstanding.
Full Spitsbergen Circumnavigation Cruise
Our expedition cruise circumnavigating Spitsbergen was just fantastic!. Nordic Saga Tours staff prepared us well providing the information on all the details and giving excellent advice.
The cruising was exciting, and the ship and its crew were excellent as well.
Our cabin was big enough and light, the mattress soft , so sleep was never a problem. Food ranged from good to excellent.There was a lot of fish every day but there was meat as well.
